New Stats!!

Miss Marin had her 4 month check-up today and did NOT look like this afterward, but we don't have to talk about that...

The new stats:

• Weight: 14lbs (48.5th pecentile)
• Height: 24" (30th percentile, Mom's side)
• Head: 17" (92nd percentile, Dad's side)

So, yes she is only 7" longer than the circumference of her head :)

Papa Dean

Papa Dean and Marin met for the first time a couple weeks ago...sorry for the delay in getting them up!! Needless to say she was ga-ga for him and he for her :)

The Numbers

In case anyone didn't know, this is about what a child looks like after receiving her first immunization shots :( But here's the data after the 2 month visit:

• 11lbs - 52nd percentile
• 22.75" - 63rd percentile
• 16" cranium - 88th percentile

So there you have it...yes, she got Dad's head. I might also add that the NP said "highly intelligent" when recounting the stats, so there :) and she said Marin has a great height to weight ratio.

Gone runnin!

With our new fancy jogging stroller Marin and Dad can go out together for morning runs and its a more comfortable ride overall for the uneven sidewalks in our neighborhood.

We're getting more and more smiles and coos from our little girl every day! I think she feels particularly good here because she finally pooped for the first time in two days the night before :) I know I'd feel better...Good Morning!!

THAT, my friends, is a SMILE!! Not just gas as some of you (Beltrand) have intimated recently! Marin has been filling out nicely as well. Although we don't have firm numbers, it is safe to say that she is steadily packin on the pounds, or ounces at least. She also has managed to roll herself over, checking off another item off the infant "to-do" list :)

...even some drunk Aussie! After some coaching from Sarah, Damon fared just fine :) I'm just wondering whose head needed to be supported more...To Damon's credit, he wasn't drunk at this time, but was feeling the effects of the night before ;)
